We can’t explain why this post has taken us this long to put up (partly because it’s been a busy few weeks and because Nila seriously doesn’t like putting picture up of herself). It’s been over two weeks since the Cosmopolitan blog awards 2013. But here it is.
If you don’t know, we were shortlisted as one of the best lifestyle blogs by Cosmopolitan magazine [whoop whoop]. There were over 40,000 entries and we felt honoured to have made it to the awards [thank you for all your support].
The bad news is, we didn’t win, but the good news is, we wore dresses from one of our favourite designer’s ever – Natalia Kaut [we can’t put down in words how much we love these dresses].
For one night only, we both decided to change styles. Nila usually wears the long floral maxi dress that doesn’t reveal a lot [she’s such a sexy grandma]. I on the other hand like to spice things up a bit. But this time round it was a different story [as you can see for yourself].
We met this cool guy – he is seriously cool. His name is Clym Evernden and he is an award winning illustrator (check out his work). Lucky for me, he drew an illustration of me while I was having a chat with Nila.
