It’s no secret that the Italians make some of the best ice-creams in the world. During the weekend we got some delicious Divino Gelato delivered right to our door step. We made some sandwiches and coffee, put everything bag, and went to our favourite park for a picnic.
The ice-cream is filled with fruit, all natural, gluten-free and preservative free. If the fruity flavour is not your favourite ice-cream then this is something we would not suggest [the taste is very powerful]. But if you’re fan, then this is heaven for you.
We found that the chestnut gelato was melting the fastest, so we would say eat that first and the tangerine took a lot longer [leave that for last]. Our favourite two flavours out of the bunch were the apricot and kiwi.
You can order the ice-cream on the website and a box of Divino will cost you £9.99, this includes selection of one ciaculli tangerine, roman kiwi, vesuvian apricot, and two montella chestnuts – we think it’s perfect for three people.
The delivery would take up to 3-5 working days but if you pay an extra £2.99 and make the order before 3.30pm you get the next working day delivery.
Once the ice-cream arrives you remove it from it’s packaging and wait 20-30 before you start serving. You can cut them in halves or quarters and scoop out the gelato. If you like you can eat the skin too [not the chestnut shells].
You can also taste the gelato’s across different venues in London such as The Dorchester and Mandarin Oriental.
