Last night, Ides of March, directed by George Clooney, premiered at Leicester Square during the London Film Festival.
George Clooney himself came to introduce his movie, the fourth he directed, along with Evan Rachel Wood and Philip Seymour Hoffman.
Odeon Leicester Square was completely sold out and during the end credits people clapped delightedly.
The movie follows Ryan Gosling as campaign aide Stephen Meyers for a presidential candidate, governor Mike Morris played by George Clooney, who gets sucked into the dirty business of politics. Backstabbing, a sex scandal and blackmail make this plot gripping, raising questions about moral and greed in politics. The film is based on the play by Beau Willimon.
I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, but see for yourself! Ides of March is in theatres October 28th.
