Not too long, a few friends invited my son and me to visit Owls Play Centre in Ilford.

It was a beautiful day, the beginning of autumn but the summer sun was still bright. I ended up parking on the other side of the play centre and somehow managed to get lost. I started the usual thought process ‘oh this only happens to me’, ‘why now, why today’. In the end, I decided to make the most of it and just enjoy walking around the park.

It was stunning, we explored more than just the play centre that day. We saw Fairlop Water Country Park, the climbing and park area for kids and indulged ourselves in some vitamin D (thank you sun).

I have decided to share a few images of the park with you but today I will be mainly concentrating on the Play Centre (a car park divides the centre from the park).

Noah was 7 months when we went to the play centre, he really enjoyed playing in the baby area and also made a few new friends. The play centre is also good for toddlers but we didn’t spend much time climbing the soft play area because Noah was simply too young.

You can also hire rooms or the play centre for private events.
