While going through our Fashion Week photos I [Nila] came across a designer I fell in love with backstage – Tahir Sultan. His collection was simply breathtaking. I am not going to write paragraph after paragraph about the material and colours he chooses to use, I am sure the photos paint a perfect picture.
But I have selected a few of my favourite pieces from the collection to show how his designs are a mixture of the conservative and glamorous look. The Middle East influences him, he’s inspired by the embroideries and textiles from the region and the idea of veiling and draping.
