chingford restaurant

So, not too long ago, this cosy little spot called Casa popped up in Chingford, and it pretty quickly became one of our go-to hangouts.

We actually got to catch up with one of the owners, and it was super interesting to hear his whole vibe.

Basically, he spotted that Chingford was missing a little slice of that Shoreditch kind of energy—like a place with classic, well-loved food but also a bit of artsy flair.

And speaking of artsy flair, the guy’s not just about the food. He actually hand-drew this Picasso-esque piece that’s hanging on the wall inside Caza. It took him over nine months to finish it, which is wild dedication. I kind of jokingly asked if he’d ever sell it, and he was like, “Nah, not for now!” But hey, you never know—things could change. So yeah, it’s got that cool mix of good eats and a bit of a creative soul, and it’s definitely added something special to the neighborhood.
