Growing up, I often dreamed of living right in the centre of London, where life buzzed with endless opportunities and the promise of achieving my career goals. I worked hard to make that dream a reality, believing that the city’s energy and pace would move me forward.
However, when I experienced my first psychotic episode, that dream had to be put aside as I focused on recovery and getting better.
Now, feeling fulfilled and aligned with my purpose, I’ve come to understand that where I am is exactly where I need to be.
Living near Epping Forest and being surrounded by nature has been incredibly healing. The forest lifts my mood, helps me appreciate life, and allows me to spend hours exploring, foraging, and connecting with the wildlife.
Gardening and growing herbs have also become passions that ground me and help me become a better version of myself.
