If you’re an 80s fan then we found a club that might be right up your street – Maggies. Everything about this club screams ‘retro’ – with Rubik’s Cube tables, graffiti-blasted walls and even a fish tank along the walls.
The club is named after Margret Thatcher and you can even listen to her speech while you are in the toilet [just what you need].
We went there on a Wednesday night and it was pretty busy for a weekday – so we would suggest to get yourself on the guest list for the weekend. From the outside it seemed like an ordinary club but once you went in, it was a different story (the pictures speak for themselves). It costs £20 to get in.
The drinks were amazing, they were served in watering cans and Rubik’s Cubes. But we did think they were a bit too pricey (cheapest being £14). The watering can [picture below] costs £65 and serves 4 people maximum. The venue is pretty small and it did get really hot at times but then again this didn’t stop us from having our fun.
To really have a good time at this club you’ve got to love your 80s music – if you’re not a fan then you may just find it a bit cheesy.
There is this 80s disco on Fulham Road
where you can see Madonna
this guy too
and listen to Thatcher talk in the loo.
There we are – inside the club
dancing the night away
drinking out of watering cans
and meeting Mario – his number one fans.
