Snow Patrol closed their UK tour with a bang in London last night, 12 February, at the O2. The band played a wide selection of their biggest hits from all six albums, like Crack the Shutters, Shut your Eyes, Take back the City, and You Could be happy.

Gary Lightbody’s voice captivated the audience. The Irish rocker dedicated the song ‘Run’ to love. The audience sung along Chasing Cars, a power ballad and possibly the band’s most famous song.

Formed in 1994 in Scotland, the band is now based in London. After their UK tour the sextet will now go on to a series of concerts throughout Europe and the US.

Inspired by the band’s snowflake logo, six floating LED screens hung above the stage, each shaped like single snowflake crystal. Animated graphics and live video footage of both the band performing and audience members were projected onto the screen in the background.

He said ‘The Garden Rules’ from the band’s new album ‘Fallen Empires’ is his favorite song and he dedicated it to his two support acts Everything Everything and Rams’ Pocket Radio.

Open your Eyes was the last song after 90 minutes of great music performed by an amazing live band – after all they’ve had 17 years of practice.
